Céline Cousteau carries on the family legacy of environmental advocacy through adventure and filmmaking. Some of her documentary work includes Jean-Michel Cousteau: Ocean Adventures (PBS), Mysteries of the Shark Coast (Discovery Channel), and a 12 part television series for a Chilean production: Oceano: Chile Frente al Mar. Céline is founder and executive director of CauseCentric Productions, a non-profit organization that creates cause focused multi-media content. As a member of the World Economic Forum Council on Oceans, Céline collaborates with the council to provide recommendations to the WEF about ocean issues. Ms Cousteau’s current major work is a multimedia project, documentary, and engagement campaign “Tribes on the Edge” based on the many tribes of the Vale do Javari indigenous territory in the Brazilian Amazon.
